Good Idea but not as good as it seems.This seemed like it was a great idea for camping or even just for grilling out. The sporting hing part broke off and it wont fold up. Like a standard gas grill, having a lid/hood keeps heat in, which cooks food like an oven. This capability is especially helpful when cooking thicker cuts of meat like whole chicken breasts or thick-cut steaks. The performance of the 28 inch griddle should be slightly better than the 36 inch version. It is heavy but it breaks down into 3 sections so it’s not hard to move. I had mine delivered to my home and it suffered some sheet metal damage in the body and hood from being dropped but I was able to disassemble it and straighten out the dented metal.
