Blackstone Adventure Ready 22 Review For now, I’m gonna use a small tie-down strap to hold the cart closed… but I am going to check the local hardware stores for a more substantial latch. The ones that come on the cart are held on with 4 screws. So it will be easy to remove the cheap latches and add some heavy duty ones that I am happy with. This minor inconvenience is not a deal breaker for me.. It’s also widely enjoyed because of the additional features you don’t get with other models. They easily collapse when you want to close the cart up. You have a place for a roll of paper towels and for a tall kitchen trash bag. I only have one big CON… the latches that hold it in the closed position. Right out of the box, 2 of the latches would not stay in the closed position. The cart was not warped or damaged in any way.. One is the standard issue black griddle, another has some stainless steel framing and the one pictured below is the “Adventure Ready” model. The differences between the griddles are all cosmetic. The large cooking surface on the 22? allowed me to make just about everything at once. No more making one or two cast iron pancakes at a time and flipping them into a bowl, only to serve them cold minutes later. Learning to cook has been incredibly exciting, but overwhelming at the same time. This is my first ever grill, and I couldn’t be happier. For a “travel” grill, it’s still perfect for the patio. Great grilling assistantThis Blackstone prep station is a huge aid to outside grilling. I’ve used lawn chairs, deck railings, flower pots, and any available surface area to place a multitude of items used in my grill events. The instructions say 30 minutes to assemble; I did it in fifteen. Two people could do it easier, but one can get it done. There’s a place for paper towels, utensils, and storage shelves for spices, foil, and whatever else is in your grilling entourage. Solid tableVery Pleased with this setup table very solid heavy metal you will need 2 people to lift this up Really like the fact that this is portable however I doubt will be moving it. We have a Weber grill small one and we are going to place it on top and then use the side table for prep very nice. All in all I would recommend this table to anyone.
